Your account and licence

Your licence belongs to your account, not to a computer. Open Settings and look under Account to see which email you're signed in with and your Plan. If you've just bought ThatPrompt and it's still locked, choose Check licence.

See your licence

In Settings, under Account:

• Email is the account you're signed in with.
• Plan shows Lifetime for a bought licence, Lifetime · Early supporter for early-access accounts, or Not activated if the account has no licence.
• Purchased shows when you bought it.

Unlock ThatPrompt after buying

ThatPrompt is bought on the website, not in the app. The licence goes to the account with the email you pay with.

1. Choose Buy on thatprompt.ai. The pricing page opens in your browser.
2. Pay with the same email you sign in to ThatPrompt with.
3. Back in ThatPrompt, choose Check again on the Licence screen, or Check licence in Settings. A purchase can take a minute to arrive.

Paid with a different email? Choose Sign in with another account and sign in with that one. If you bought on the website before you had an account, one was created for you. Check your email for the link to set its password.

The first month after buying

For the first month, ThatPrompt confirms your purchase with the server about once a week. If it can't for more than a week, it shows Connect to confirm your licence. Connect to the internet and choose Check again. After the first month it never needs to check again.

Sign in and out

• Sign in. Choose Sign in. Your browser opens, you sign in there, and it hands you back to ThatPrompt. See Sign-in problems if it doesn't come back.
• Sign out. In Settings, under Account, choose Sign Out.

Forgot your password

On the sign-in page in your browser, choose Forgot password?, enter your email and choose Send reset link. The link in the email works for 24 hours. A new password needs at least 8 characters, a capital letter and a number.

Two computers at a time

Your licence covers two computers signed in at the same time. See Use ThatPrompt on a second computer.

Change your email or delete your account

There's no button for these yet. Email hello@blacklabstudios.com from your account's address and we'll do it. Deleting your account doesn't touch the prompts on your computer, because they were never on our server.
