2. Use of Website and App

2.1 Eligibility

3. The App

3.1 Description

ThatPrompt is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that allows you to save, enhance, and retrieve AI prompts. The App stores your data locally on your device in a SQLite database.

3.2 Enhance Feature

The Enhance feature sends your prompt text to our API for AI-powered rewriting. By using this feature, you acknowledge that your prompt content is transmitted to our servers for processing. We do not retain your prompt data after processing is complete.

3.3 Early Access

The App is currently offered as a free early access product. Features, pricing, and availability may change. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, modify features, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3.4 No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" during the early access period. We make no guarantees about uptime, data preservation, or feature availability. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any data stored in the App.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Our Content

All content on the Website and within the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Guilherme Ferreira and is protected by international copyright laws.

4.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of any prompts or content you create, store, or enhance using the App. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

4.3 Limited Licence

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal or professional use. This licence does not include any right to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the App or its code
• Modify or create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App for any purpose that competes with ThatPrompt

5. Privacy

Your use of our Website and App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Website or App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

6.1 AI-Generated Content

The Enhance feature uses AI to rewrite prompts. AI-generated suggestions may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your specific use case. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any enhanced content before use.

6.2 External Links

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content of these sites and assume no responsibility for them.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Guilherme Ferreira shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Website or App
• Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Website or App
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code that may be transmitted to or through the Website or App by any third party
• Any errors or omissions in any content, including AI-enhanced prompts
• Any loss of locally stored data

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guilherme Ferreira from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Website or App, or your violation of these Terms.
